2.10 Market Rasen: High Fibre

Best odds: 10-1.
High Fibre’s Jump Index of 8.6 is the best in the field for the Summer Hurdle at Market Rasen and he makes plenty of each-way appeal.
The seven-year-old has gained lengths with his leaping in each of his 15 races over Jumps, averaging about seven per race.
He also shaped well on his first start for James Owen on the Flat at York recently, when a keeping-on third.
Owen’s runners are not usually underestimated in the betting but they have exceeded market expectations at Market Rasen in the past year, with his Actual versus Expected being an eye-catching 1.84 at the track.
The trainer is seeking to land this prize for the third time in four years and clearly means business as he has snapped up Sean Bowen for the ride.

2.35 Cartmel: Alvesta

Best odds: 11-4.
Alvesta appeared to have her stamina stretched over two and three quarter miles at the track on her previous start, but she can prove more effective now dropped back in trip.
Before her latest defeat, the daughter of Study Of Man showed her liking for the unique Cumbrian track with victory in a course and distance seller.
Others might have achieved more than the five-year-old, however having course form at Cartmel counts for plenty, while she also has the bonus of being in the care of James Moffat, who is the leading trainer at the track.
4.17 Newmarket: Yes I'm Mali
Tipster: Dave Nevison.
Best odds: 3-1.
Yes I’m Mali has performed consistently well since he started out for David O’Meara this season, with his only seemingly poor efforts being when very badly drawn in a big field at York and when possibly outclassed in a 0-105 handicap.
When campaigned in today’s grade he has gone close every time, and won one at Thirsk in the spring.
He ran a very good race when second over this course and distance last time out and certainly would not have to do much more to land his second handicap of the season.
Fast ground conditions suit him very well.

4.35 Curragh: Thundering On

Best odds: 5-2.
I’m happy to give another chance to Joseph O’Brien’s Epsom heroine Thundering On here.
There were reasons for her defeat last time, which was a good run against her elders in any case, and she can get back to winning ways.
Her biggest rival might come from the same yard by way of Johana Walsh, who can reverse form with Earth Shot.
8.43 Nottingham: Everyoneknowsadave
Tipster: Martin Dixon.

Jessica Macey hasn't saddled a winner yet in 2026 from 109 runners but the recent stable form is much more positive with three seconds from five runners so far in July and Everyoneknowsadave's last two efforts have both suggested he's ready to win.
At Pontefract on his penultimate start he stayed on well despite having a wide trip, then at Leicester the thriving Oasis Sunrise got first run on him but he again he kept on well.
This is a very winnable race and crack apprentice Ashley Lewis takes over in the plate to take off a valuable 5lbs.
