Race 1 - Juddmonte 'Lead Artist' Irish EBF (C & G) Maiden
Aidan O'Brien has tended to saddle a good one in this 1400m (7f) maiden due off at 13:10 BST, and is bidding for five in a row, with three of his recent winners sent off close to even money. The market will prove informative then, with Speakers Corner looking the stable pick on jockey bookings, but his dam was a slow-burner and it might be worth taking a chance on the Dermot Weld-trained PORTO VECCHIO whose dam Joailliere was an impressive winner over this trip on debut. Anchor Road shaped with promise on debut (didn't get a clear run) and is a big danger.
Race 2 - Hailey Equine Irish EBF Fillies Maiden
This doesn't look a strong renewal, with the leading form contenders only rated in the 70s, so it might be worth chancing NEVER THE SAME on her return to action. She steps up to 1400m (7f) for the first time having looked a work in progress over shorter in her one start last term, but she cost plenty as a yearling and looks the type who will progress well this season.
Race 3 - Al Shira'aa Racing Meadow Court Stakes (Group 3)
A 2000m (10f) contest that can go the way of warm favourite ONE LOOK who won it 12 months ago. She lost little in defeat when second to Estrange in the Group One Pretty Polly Stakes last time and a repeat of that would see her fend off her progressive stablemate Moody and three interesting English raiders led by the lightly-raced Dreamasar who looks likely to be well suited by the stiff nature of this track.
One Look (black) won this race for former connections 12 months ago Race 4 - Liverpool FC Foundation Scurry Handicap
A competitive 1300m (6.5f) handicap which looks sure to be run at a frantic tempo. Experienced sprinters have tended to fare well, with seven-year-olds taking three of the last four renewals, and last year's winner GO ATHLETICO is fancied to strike from off the pace once more. He's slightly out of the weights but is still 5 lb lower than when successful last term. Back Down Under is another who needs the cards to fall right, but she is respected having caught the eye in defeat over shorter here last month, while Dark Ace, a stablemate of the winner, looks the pick of those at the other end of the handicap.
Race 5 - Tulfarris Hotel And Golf Resort Sapphire Stakes (Group 2)
A 1000m (5f) sprint in which three-year-olds have a good record. Commonwealth Cup fourth Havana Anna holds Charles Darwin on that form, but the latter looks the pick at the prices as he should be suited by the drop in trip. However, King Charles III Stakes fourth ROSY AFFAIR and fifth Jakajaro are major players, and it's the George Boughey-trained mare who gets the nod. Her form from earlier in the year looks very solid, and this looks a good bit of placing.
Watch: Rosy Affair was an impressive winner earlier in the campaign Race 6 - GAIN Railway Stakes (Group 2)
The return to 1200m (6f) should suit Carry The Flag but the application of cheekpieces is a little off-putting. Preference is for IMMORTAL GUARD who finished ahead of Confucius here last time and looks good value to confirm the form with this quicker ground in his favour.
Race 7 - Juddmonte Irish Oaks (Group 1)
The feature race over 2400m (12f) looks sure to be run at a true gallop which should suit the strong stayer AMELIA EARHART, and she can reverse the Epsom form with Thundering On. Aidan O'Brien has won this race several times, including with Seventh Heaven in 2016 who bounced back from a poor run in the English equivalent. Thundering On appeared beaten fair and square by her elders in the Pretty Polly, and the ground is a worry again, while stablemate Johanna Walsh ran a cracker when second to Earth Shot in the Ribblesdale and both are respected as a result.
Watch: Thundering On claimed the Oaks at Epsom in style
Race 8 - Hill Of Allen Stud Handicap
An 1800m (10f) handicap which can be dominated by GENCHEV. He produced his best effort this season when able to make all the running at Navan and should be more at home in this easier company having been unable to get near the speed at Royal Ascot last month. Handicap debutante Vanir may find this trip on the short side, so Yousaynothingatall may prove a bigger danger.
Race 9 - WTW Willis Handicap
A 1000m (5f) handicap to finish with, and former winner
MARY SHOELACES gets the nod. She is back down to a very attractive mark and has a fine record for jockey Jessica O'Gorman when racing over this C&D in blinkers.
Real Encounter again ran creditably last time and may emerge as the chief threat ahead of
Daneh Of Dandy who should fare better on this quicker ground than when well-held on his stable debut last time out.
