Our top tipster shares his four best bets for a fine Saturday of action live on Racing TV, with fancies from both Market Rasen and Newmarket.
2.10 Market Rasen: High Fibre (E/W)
I have decided to find a better priced each-way prospect rather than row in with the favourite here, and High Fibre fits the bill for me.
His form over hurdles has been fairly consistent up to now and he is a winner of a kempton handicap last season. Significantly he has joined James Owen and in one run so far he looks as though he might well be improved by the switch.
His third placed finish at York where he was staying on well from too far back was eye-catching and looked as though he was being primed for this race.
High Fibre does best in a race run at a strong pace which looks very likely here, and with the reapplication of headgear and the booking of Sean Bowen off bottom weight, a good run can very reasonably be expected.

2.45 Market Rasen: St Faz (E/W)
St Faz is an each-way selection for the Summer Plate and might be too big a price at 25/1 here.
Formerly with Gordon Elliott, he has gone well on the flat for current trainer Adrian Keatley and won at Musselburgh earlier this year.
Keatley has upped him in distance on the flat and been successful and that gives me some hope that St Faz may well improve for this step up to a trip he has never previously attempted over fences before.
St Faz has run well over fences in the past and was going quite well in a very competitive 2 mile handicap at Cheltenham in November 2025 when he made a shuddering error three from home.
Very promising conditional Freddie Keighley has been booked for the ride, and a visor and cheekpieces have been applied ,so this definitely looks like a plan, and at big odds I am happy to take a risk.
4.17 Newmarket: Yes I’m Mali
Yes I’m Mali has performed consistently well since he started out for David O’Meara this season, with his only seemingly poor efforts being when very badly drawn in a big field at York and when possibly outclassed in a 0-105 handicap.
When campaigned in today’s grade he has gone close every time, and won one at Thirsk in the spring.
He ran a very good race when second over this course and distance last time out and certainly would not have to do much more to land his second handicap of the season.
Fast ground conditions suit him very well.
5.15 Market Rasen: Mojo Ego
After a couple of years sliding down the handicap for his previous yard, a switch of stable has revitalised Mojo Ego who won narrowly but determinedly at Worcester on his first outing for Fergal O’Brien.
The wafer-thin margin of that success means that the handicapper has only been able to put him up by 4lbs though in fact he beat two last time out winners in that race and the horse who finished second has gone in since and is the only one to have had a run.
Mojo Ego was rated 117 when he left Harry Fry and races off just 95 here, so there is clearly plenty of room for him to come back to previous form.
He is up in trip here but was staying on well last time so it looks likely he will stay.
