The star of this week's The Verdict programme was Greek Order who was a very impressive winner of the final race at Newbury on Saturday.
He looks to be way ahead of his mark and it is noted that he is entered in the 4.25pm at Newmarket on Friday. He is a horse with a devastating turn of foot, and must be followed. Make sure you add him to your Racing TV Tracker.
Two bets for York this week
With the Sky Bet Ebor Festival at York dominating the action on Racing TV this week, here are two selections for you. Best of luck.
This filly featured on The Verdict this week. A change of tactics from pace setting to being held-up enabled her to show her speed at the end of the race where she quickened smartly to score at Newmarket.
Her Course Track closing sectionals were impressive plus suggest she is ahead of her mark. She carries a 6lb penalty at York on Thursday, but that should not stop her, as long as similar tactics are employed.
Willie Mullins teams up with Frankie Dettori here, and they can win the Sky Bet Ebor. Absurde was an excellent second to stable companion Vauban in the Copper Horse Handicap at Royal Ascot, and essentially had no chance having been held up a long way off the gallop.
Things again didn’t go his way when he was beaten at odds-on in a Listed Hurdle at Galway last time out and this race may well have been the target all along. He could be well ahead of his mark.
Two additional horses to follow

17:10 Newmarket - Friday August 18
This son of Expert Eye finished second at Newmarket last Friday in a novice stakes over seven furlongs. He shaped with promise on what was his second start, but the Course Track sectionals identify that he may only realise that potential when he is dropped back in trip to six furlongs.
He travelled like the best horse in the race but was outstayed by Watcha Matey, a rival with greater experience. The race was not run at a furious tempo, with every horse recording a Finishing Speed Percentage (FSP) over 100% meaning the whole field ran the final three furlongs faster than they ran the first four furlongs.
North View finished his final furlong weakly having recorded a split of 12.76s compared to the winner, who saw the trip out better in 12.38s.
That in itself tells us that North View did not stay particularly well as the race was steadily run. However, the Course Track sectionals he produced prior to that final furlong were impressive.
He was the fastest horse through each of the following furlongs and was fastest whilst still travelling strongly on the bridle. They are detailed below compared to the winner:
F3: 11.64s vs 11.91s.
F4: 11.82s vs 11.95s.
F5: 11.39s vs 11.73s.
F6: 11.50s vs 11.52s.
To say he dominated this race prior to that slow final furlong would be an understatement. In addition to that, he saw daylight too soon having been held up, probably because he travelled so well, and tanked his way to the front.
He must be followed when returning to six furlongs and based upon the speed he showed here, I would still be keen on him over five furlongs as well.

Call Me Ginger may have finished a well beaten 7th at Sandown on Sunday, but he shaped very well following a really slow start and is worth adding to your Racing TV tracker.
The value of the Course Track numbers is that they can highlight performances that otherwise would go unrecognised, and that is very much the case with Call Me Ginger.
In the 14-runner field over five Furlongs, he produced the fastest final three furlongs and it is fair to say that without that very tardy start, he would have gone close to winning. Here is his final three-furlong split compared to the first four home.
1. Good Earth - 36.01s.
2. Lil Guff - 35.64s.
3. Spring Bloom - 35.26s.
4. Get It - 35.80s.
7th: Call Me Ginger - 35.07s.
He produced two of the fastest individual furlongs in the race, too. He was fastest through F3 with an 11.02s furlong, and through F4 where he recorded 11.36s. Those quick furlongs show him to be in good form, and he may be ready to win again soon. He last won off a rating of 89 yet ran off 84 at Sandown, and he has been dropped another two pounds to 82 since.
He is entered at York on Saturday and also holds an entry in the Ayr Gold Cup in September.
