Top tipster Dave Nevison has three selections at Hamilton Park on Wednesday evening, with every race live on Racing TV.
6.30 Hamilton: Summerstorms Dream
Crack amateur rider Eirann Cagney might just be the winning edge here. Cagney is head and shoulders above most riders in this sphere, but wouldn’t have to do too much with this lightly-raced filly to get her off the mark in this.
Summerstorms Dream ran a very promising race when third on her reappearance over this trip at Ayr. She didn’t improve for that run last time, but missed the break and raced on the wrong side so can possibly be forgiven.
Jim Goldie has applied headgear for the first time which may sharpen her up enough, and as long as Cagney gets her out of the stalls, I am sure she will go close.
6.40 Hamilton: Silca Bay
Silca Bay is a consistent sort who broke his turf maiden over this trip in an apprentice handicap at Goodwood last week.
He obviously has no penalty for that win and is ridden by Oliver Carmichael, who is going well and is able to claim his full 7lb allowance in this, so it is arguable that Silca Bay is off a 2lb lower mark.
His Goodwood win came in a 0-80 grade and is down to a 0-75 here, so he has plenty going for him.

9.00 Hamilton: Motawaared
Mutawaared has never run in a grade this low before and could be ready to break his maiden by outclassing these 0-65 rivals.
The Jim Goldie-trained four-year-old has been improving steadily with each run this season, twice in 0-85 grades, and last weekend, where he stayed on well under hands and heels riding in a 0-70 handicap at Musselburgh.
He is another who was slow to get going last time and has headgear applied for this, and if the visor does sharpen him up, he can go very close off his lowest ever mark.
