Top tips for the Curragh on Sunday!A 40-1 chance is among selections from Angus McNae, Andy Stephens (RaceiQ), Katie Midwinter, Nic Doggett and Johnny Ward. Enjoy all the action live on Racing TV.
1.45 Curragh: Sun Goddess
Tipster: Angus McNae.
Best odds: 8-11.
This filly shaped with plenty of promise when finishing runner-up on her debut at Naas, and can go one better here.
She finished that Naas contest very strongly from off the pace having received a bump at the start. Her final furlong of 11.64s was very fast, when compared to the RaceiQ par, and compares to the winner, who could only record a 12.16s split.
It is fair to say that she shaped like the best horse in that contest where her data was superior to all of her rivals. She is potentially very smart, and can strike here.

3.20 Curragh: City Of Memphis
Tipster: Katie Midwinter.
Best odds: 100-30.
Hat-trick-seeking City Of Memphis has a fitness edge on her side over talented stablemate One Look, which may give her the advantage for Paddy Twomey in this Group Two contest.
The daughter of Sioux Nation remains unexposed in only her fifth career start, winning three from four to date with her only defeat suffered in the Irish 1,000 Guineas last year won by Lake Victoria.
She was absent for 332 days following her run at this meeting twelve months ago but returned in good order with a Gowran Park success this term, before doubling up in Group Three company when last seen at Leopardstown.
Entitled to keep on progressing, there could be plenty of further improvement to come from the four-year-old filly, who is in-form, with fitness on her side, and should be suited by this test.

3.55 Curragh: Green Impact
Tipster: Nic Doggett.
Best odds: 40-1 (each-way).
It’s interesting that connections have said they will keep Minnie Hauk to this trip for the first half of the season and this should be run at a strong tempo which should suit ideally. Clear on official ratings and receiving 3lb, she should prove hard to beat but her price makes no appeal given she faces classy mile and a quarter horses for the first time.
I would have preferred to have seen Almaqam get a run under his belt, but he still rates a big threat on the pick of his form, and anything he does here should stand him in good stead for races like the Coral-Eclipse in six weeks’ time.
The same owners’ Saddadd – a year-younger half-brother to Almaqam - remains firmly on the up and may well have a similar target, but this looks a strong Group One in which to dip his toe and his price is based more on potential than form at this stage.
If there’s one who might be overpriced, it could be GREEN IMPACT for Jessica Harrington who primed Alpha Centauri to perfection to win the 1,000 Guineas on this card back in 2018 after one (below par) prep run.
Green Impact doesn’t have much to find with Almaqam on their York Stakes effort as a three-year-old last term, and this big horse should be a stronger individual with another winter on his back. He’s unexposed over this trip on decent ground and, for a yard that is starting to hit better form, could take another step forward to at least reach the places at 40-1.

4.30 Curragh: True Love
Tipster: RaceiQ nap of the day (Andy Stephens) and Harry Allwood.
Best odds: Evens.
True Love blossomed as a two-year-old and can achieve a Classic double after her stunning victory in the Betfred 1000 Guineas.
She was only 12th with three furlongs left to run at Newmarket but was quickest in each of them to win with authority. The daughter of No Nay Never was the only runner to exceed 41mph, with her rapid 10.93 second sixth furlong best best of the bunch.
Her stablemate, Precise, was seventh in the Guineas after an interrupted preparation. Her RaceiQ numbers as a juvenile all add up and she rates the main threat.
5.40 Curragh: Storm Heart
Tipster: Johnny Ward.
Best odds: 11-4.
Kingstonian, tipped at Chester when a huge gamble, is hard to oppose, but this Willie Mullins-trained runner has never had a shot at the level yet for the champion jumps trainer, and he is almost certainly well-treated off 82.
