Top presenter Angus McNae takes aim at the action at the Curragh on Sunday, live on Racing TV, and reveals his best bets, with a strong fancy in the Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas among his selections. For more Sunday tips from our experts, click here. 1.45 Curragh: Sun Goddess
This filly shaped with plenty of promise when finishing runner-up on her debut at Naas, and can go one better here.
She finished that Naas contest very strongly from off the pace having received a bump at the start. Her final furlong of 11.64s was very fast, when compared to the RaceiQ par, and compares to the winner, who could only record a 12.16s split.
It is fair to say that she shaped like the best horse in that contest where her data was superior to all of her rivals. She is potentially very smart, and can strike here.
2.45 Curragh: Goomah
Goomah will be a big price, but has a better chance than the market will indicate, given that the step up to a mile will suit her, and she is sure to come on for her seasonal reappearance at Leopardstown.
She made the running that day, and shot clear turning for home before tiring late on, seemingly in need of the run. She will be ridden prominently, which is an ideal run style at this track, and she could take some catching under Wayne Lordan, who retains the ride after Leopardstown.

3.20 Curragh: One Look
One Look has a good record fresh, and arrives here following a 218-day break. The selection was last seen failing to stay 1m4f on QIPCO British Champions Day at Ascot in October.
She returns to a mile at a track where she has a good record, and can go one better in a race in which she finished an excellent second in last year behind the smart Porta Fortuna.
Paddy Towmey has his team in tremendous form, with a strike rate in 2026 of 28 per cent, and he can add to his seasonal tally with this tough and consistent mare.
4.30 Curragh: True Love
True Love was one of the best winners of the Betfred 1000 Guineas that we have seen in the past decade, and there is no reason to think she cannot back up that success here.
At Newmarket, she proved that she stays a mile, and the electric turn of foot that she showed was very impressive.
Such was the authority of her success there, I believe she should be odds-on to win this contest, and the odds against quotes are generous, so I think they should be taken.
