Roscommon gets the go-ahead after passing inspection

Mondays's meeting at Roscommon goes ahead as planned after the track passed an 8am inspection.

The Irish venue was hit by 16 millimetres of rain on Sunday, leaving the going as heavy and parts of the track unfit for racing, but conditions are reported to have improved.

Horse Racing Ireland tweeted: "Roscommon will go ahead today as planned following track inspection. Ground heavy. Light showers this morning clearing this afternoon."
