The National Hunt fixtures at
Sedgefield and
Market Rasen on Tuesday must pass course inspections on raceday morning.
Officials at Market Rasen have called a 9am precautionary inspection as overnight temperatures could dip to as low as minus 2C.
Snow and sleet showers are also expected on Tuesday morning.
Sedgefield will stage a precautionary inspection at 8am "due to the forecast of low overnight temperatures and possible wintry showers".
Monday's jumps fixture at Newcastle has passed an early-morning inspection and goes ahead as planned.
Clerk of the course James Armstrong had intended to assess conditions at 8am due to the possibility of frost.
But overnight temperatures did not drop below freezing so Armstrong was able to make an earlier-than-expected call.
The going is soft, heavy in places, with the first of six races due off at 1.40pm.
