Top tipster Katie Midwinter goes through her best bets for Friday's action with selections from Killarney, Newmarket and Pontefract, live on Racing TV.
2.32 Killarney: Pray Tell E/W
Ten-year-old gelding Pray Tell returns to hurdling on a workable mark of 128 with 7lb claiming Paddy Cleary in the saddle, having run well in fourth behind Littlefoot over the larger obstacles at Kilbeggan when last seen in May.
He hasn't run over hurdles since April, when well-beaten in a race won by Saint Lucie, and couldn't make an impression at Clonmel in November either. Though he had won a Cork Grade Three during the previous winter, proving himself in Graded company in that sphere.
Whilst he has lacked consistency of late, Pray Tell is a formidable performer on his day and this challenge could suit. He's a strong stayer with form over further and has finished third in a competitive Punchestown handicap previously when rated only 2lb lower.
It may be worth keeping the faith in this Desmond Kenneally-trained contender, who finished a good second to Argento Boy over fences on New Year's Eve, and he may be able to give another good account of himself here.
3.07 Killarney: The Banger Doyle E/W
John Queally-trained The Banger Doyle is 7lb lower than his last winning mark and 8lbs lower than when just denied at Punchestown last summer.
It's been a while since he has been competitive over fences, but he's usually in good form at this time of year and has put in a couple of creditable efforts on the Flat over the past month or so.
The 10-year-old gelding finished third in a 15-runner Leopardstown maiden to Gaoth Chuil last month before placing behind Voice Of Reason at Tramore recently. He has the race fitness on his side and is on a workable mark, over a proven distance, as he bids for a fifth career win in his 54th start.

6.58 Newmarket: Darn Hot Gallop
Too Darn Hot filly Darn Hot Gallop didn't get the run of things in the Sandringham Stakes when last seen at Royal Ascot, and can be forgiven for a disappointing effort in the competitive 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket earlier in the season too.
In calmer waters here from a mark of 86, she could be dangerous under Hector Crouch, only 3lb higher than when returning as the 22/1 winner on the Rowley Mile on reappearance in April. She remains unexposed in only her sixth start, unbeaten prior to her Classic bid, and remains open to further improvement beyond her current rating.
There could be plenty more to come from the James Tate-trained filly, who had been shaping with great promise earlier in her career, and she may prove worth keeping onside as she attempts to get back on track.
7.07 Pontefract: Sir Yoshi E/W
Sir Yoshi shaped with great potential as a juvenile for previous trainer David Marnane, finishing a close second and third in respective maidens at the beginning of his career, before shedding his maiden tag when beating Passing Phase at Tipperary.
He emerged with credit in two Listed contests subsequently, including when seventh in the Windsor Castle Stakes, and went on to place third, beaten only a length-and-a-half by Tropical Storm with future Breeders' Cup winner Magnum Force in second, in a Listed contest at the Ebor Festival.
Whilst he's yet to add to his maiden win and hasn't shown great form for his current trainer Geoffrey Harker as of yet, the son of Mehmas could be capable of finding a resurgence from a lowered mark of 90 dropping in class.
He showed he retained ability last season with a few promising efforts in Listed company once again, and was only just denied in a Navan handicap from a 7lb higher mark.
