Trainer Ben Case has indicated that Midnight Jazz will more than likely run in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.Narrowly touched off by Vroum Vroum Mag at Doncaster on Saturday, the general consensus was that Willie Mullins' prolific winner must have had an off-day.Mullins also suggested on Sunday that she may have picked up a cold on the way to England, but Midnight Jazz certainly did enough to ensure she should not be out of place at the Festival in March."I think after that we'll go for the Mares' Hurdle," said Case."I'll have a look in the programme book, but I don't think there's another suitable mares' race for her."She's a tough, honest mare and the track suited her."Maybe Vroum Vroum Mag was under the weather, as Willie Mullins suggested, and she was running over a trip short of her best as she nearly won a Grade One over three miles."Either way, Mr Mullins isn't short of mares to aim at the race."Our mare is versatile, trip-wise. Two miles or two and a half suits and it was a good run."If anything, it would have been easier to take if she'd been beaten three lengths rather than just a head."
