The Lost Sock sadly lost many lengths at the start on his latest outing in the Taste The World Handicap at Salisbury. Roger Varian shared an update on Racing TV this week and explained why The Lost Sock is now having an easy week before making a plan for his next run over the coming weeks. Watch in full below:

The three-year-old, who was purchased at the Goffs Doncaster Breeze-Up Sales for £50,000, got his career off to a flying start last year having been narrowly denied at Thirsk prior to his Catterick victory, plus he also finished third on debut at Nottingham. He was given an opening mark of 84.

Varian was pleased with The Lost Sock's progress after the gelding operation, and although our syndicate horse was forced to bypass a winter campaign and failed to get his head in front in the spring, Varian has high hopes that the son of Cotai Glory will enjoy a successful second half of the season.

By joining our syndicate, you can also expect to receive regular updates from Varian plus be invited to meet The Lost Sock at Varian's yard. We cannot wait to see how our syndicate horse fares this season, and we would love you to join us on his journey.

All owners will receive regular updates from RaceShare on the horse’s progress and have the opportunity to apply for owner’s badges every time the horse runs and for exclusive yard visits to meet the horse and the trainer. 

Every time our horse runs we will hold a ballot to determine who will receive official owners’ badges – these lucky members will also share any prize money (less deductions) earned for that run. There will also be regular updates on the channel
