Wincanton gets the go-ahead

This afternoon's meeting at Wincanton goes ahead after the track passed a precautionary inspection.Officials checked conditions at 8.30am as there wasstanding water in places on the course following 12 millimetres of rain so far this morning. However, the track has been passed fit for action, although a hurdle and two fences will be bypassed to avoid any issues.The track tweeted: "We are racing! After an 8.30 inspection we have removed two fences and hurdle and run on heavy ground."
