The Irish Angle: Johnny Ward's tips for Cheltenham on Tuesday

If the Supreme was not enough, the Arkle is something else; then we have Constitution Hill plus the bridesmaid of all bridesmaid races in the shape of the Mares' Hurdle.

Look out for good offers from the bookmakers – if you were to pick one week all year to bet on horses, this is it.

I liked this horse in terms of the pace angle at Leopardstown last time but unfortunately we will never know what would have happened as he exited early.

He is a classy horse on his day and again the tempo in this race seems sure to suit. The key is the near certainty of a strong pace. Dysart Dynamo and El Fabiolo, both stablemates of the selection, like to go forward, as does Effernock Fizz.

This should play to the strengths of the hold-up Saint Roi, who was impressive on his last completed start.

A fascinating runner, albeit one with limited experience. The record of Irish trainers in this race is dire but Martin Brassil has laid out last year's narrow Coral Cup second and it seems no surprise that the tongue-tie goes back on. He has gained jumping experience at a high level.

She was disappointing in her prep run but she needs to go left-handed and finally gets a chance to show what she can do at Cheltenham.

I’ll not be sad if Honeysuckle wins, but Brandy Love is a serious talent and surely needed the run last time given her market weakness.
