It's been a fine week for The Data Detective (Andy Stephens) with four successive winning naps at 9-1, 11-2, 9-4 and 2-1. He also tipped Punchestown winners Powerful (9-1) and Gaelic Warrior (5-6) and went close with The Big Clubman (second at 16-1). See who he likes, and doesn't like, for the weekend action.
Watch: 1000 Guineas preview, featuring exclusive views from Ryan Moore and Tom Marquand!
Penultimate furlong in the Fillies’ Mile: 11.59sec (only one other dipped under 12sec)
Precise sets a huge standard in the 1000 Guineas after her triumphs in the Moyglare Stud Stakes and Fillies Mile.
She was superb in the latter, sweeping from last to first and being fastest in each of the final three furlongs in a time 1.99 seconds quicker than the RaceiQ Par. Ryan Moore partnering her for the first time is another bonus.

✅ RANGA TANG
Highest ever speed: 39.21mph. Finishing Speed Percentages: all in excess of 100%.
Average stride cadence last time: 2.13 (hinting further will suit).
Ranga Tang’s low stride cadence and breeding point to him relishing the step up to a mile and a half in this maiden.
He sets a high standard for the newcomers to aim at after his close third in a well-run handicap over a mile and a quarter at Newmarket last time, when RaceiQ assessed his final two furlong as faster than Par.
Highest ever speed: 38.75mph. Finishing 3f at Newmarket: 38.27sec (next best 40.42sec)
Goodwood draw: a 0.52 length disadvantage
Study Of Words was one of the easiest winners seen at Newmarket last year, winning a backend maiden by 15 lengths in a time 0.71 second quicker than Par despite being heavily eased.
He had previously been touched off by Bay Of Brilliance in a steadily run Goodwood contest that is working out well, when having the worst of the draw. The Frankel colt looks a stayer, so expect William Buick to make plenty of use of him.

Addison Grey is a lightly raced sprinter on the up and looks the each-way alternative to hot favourite Double Rush in this valuable six-furlong handicap.
The four-year-old clocked some swift sectionals when runner-up on his return at Newbury, muscling his way to the front after being only thirteenth two furlongs out before being thwarted. He is 2lb well in here and four-year-olds have won nine of past 15 editions of this contest.
The nine-year-old ran well when fifth in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Chase last time on his first start for John McConnell, having previously been trained by Willie Mullins.
As a consequence he’s well fancied here but it could be dangerous to bank on him reproducing that form, especially as he lacks cross-country experience and is usually let down by his jumping. His career Jump Index is 6.2 out of 10 and he has lost about 46 lengths with his jumping in his past six races (hurdles and fences).
Highest Ever Speed: 41.81mph. Finishing Speed form past 6 starts: 111301.
Final 3f last time: quicker than the winner in each
Arisaig is a smashing mare who invariably gives her running, including when chasing home Mister Winston on her return at Newmarket when conceding 9lb.
She was last of the ten runners with three furlongs to run but came home strong, being fastest of all in the final two furlongs. She’s also prove at Goodwood, being an unlucky fifth in this race 12 months ago.
Blue Bolt and She's Perfect dominate the market but, unlike Arisaig, both lack a recent run.
Highest Ever Speed: 42.30mph. Final 3f of Tattersalls Stakes: 11.36sec; 11.11sec; 12.28sec.
Distant Storm was among last season’s top juveniles, stamping himself as a potential 2000 Guineas winner when storming home in the Tattersalls Stakes at Newmarket in September.
He was more than a second quicker than anything else in the field in the final two furlongs and was then a highly creditable third in the Dewhurst just 16 days later, even though he might have still been feeling the effects of that big effort.
Sovereign Spell put up the best performance on the clock when winning at the Craven Meeting, getting a Time Index of 8.9 when the average was 6.8. RaceiQ had him winning in a time 1.72 seconds quicker than their Par.
He’s gone up 6lb and some of those who chased him home will fancy their chances of turning the tables, but he won with a bit in hand and more improvement is on the cards.
The Fergal O’Brien-trained gelding has made the frame in his past three starts, is edging down the weights and first-time cheekpieces could add an edge.
However, they are going to need to because his jumping lacks polish. His Jump Index score is a lowly 4.8, and he got a score of just 3.9 for his latest effort at Huntingdon, when his jump at the fourth flight was awarded just 1.6 (he lost almost 8mph and three lengths in an instance).
