2.40 Hamilton: Square Necker

This horse has the potential to become a useful handicapper over staying trips and can make the trip from Newmarket worthwhile.
He had plenty of strong form to his name before finishing second to Constitution Hill at Southwell and his mark of 85 looks a reasonable one given that he figures to improve gradually the stiffer test of stamina he faces.
He has a heap of stamina in his pedigree and the stiff Hamilton finish will bring out the best in him.
2.55 Newmarket: Align the Stars

The case for Align The Sars is predicated upon him coming here in good form having won the Queens Prize at Kempton and the fact that he may well get his own way out in front on a track that suits front-runners.
The RaceiQ pace data shows him to be the sole leader in the race and he can take advantage of an easy lead as long as his jockey is positive from the stalls.

3.35 Newmarket: True Love

True Love can win the 1000 Guineas for Aidan O'Brien. She has had the benefit of a previous start where she won a Group Three at Leopardstown in a fast time.
That race will give her a fitness edge over some of her opponents and the fact that she has proved that she can handle the track when winning the Cheveley Park last season is a bonus.
Aidan O'Brien has won this with a second string before and can do so again with Wayne Lordan in the plate.
3.48 Salisbury: Siam Ruby

Finished: 3rdSP: 6/4
Siam Ruby can dominate this field given her progressive profile. She boasts a win at Wolverhampton last time out and with 34% of winners over this trip in the last year at Salisbury having raced prominently, her running style should be ideally suited to this race. A mark of 76 underestimates her ability.
