Raceiq Clues For Sunday October 25
1.50 AINTREE: UN SENS A LA VIE
Jump Index: 7.7 (hurdles)
Finishing Speed Percentage on return: 101.89% (3rd best despite winning)
Trainer A/E at Aintree: 1.38
Un Sens A La Vie has shown useful form over hurdles and appeals as the type to do even better over fences.
The six-year-old got his eye in for the season by winning a good prize over hurdles at Market Rasen last month despite his Finishing Speed Percentage, which was only third best, hinting the run was needed.
He jumped typically well, getting a Jump Index score of 8.1, and the form has been franked.
2.41 MARKET RASEN: LIVIN ON LUCO
Jump Index: 6.2
Record first time out: 211
Jockey A/E at course: 1.20
Livin On Luco’s career Jump Index score of 6.2 out of 10 confirms he’s not the most efficient at getting from A to B but last season’s Welsh National fourth is a dour stayer and has the services of Sean Bowen for the first time.
The champion jockey has ridden 15 winners from 50 rides at Market Rasen in the past year.
In addition, Livin On Luco goes well fresh, winning on his seasonal reappearance for the past two seasons.
Emma Lavelle tells us more about Bluey
3.00 AINTREE: BLUEY
Win strike rate: 46.15%
Jump Index: 6.8
Lengths Gained Jumping: in five of her six races last term
Bluey is versatile regards ground conditions and progressed well over fences last season, signing off with a game success at Market Rasen.
She lacks a recent run, like several in this field, but one of her best jumping performances last season came first time out when winning at Kempton. She got a Jump Index score of 7.9 that day; jumping best at 7 of the 13 fences and gaining eight lengths in the air.
Boombawn is the obvious threat, being 10lb lower than when fourth in this race last year, but the ground may have gone against him.
