Dave Nevison, Martin Dixon, Andy Stephens (RaceiQ), Harry Allwood and Ross Millar share selections for the action at Cheltenham, live on Racing TV, and Doncaster on Saturday.
1.10 Cheltenham: Lisbane Park
Tipster: Dave Nevison.
Joe Tizzard has his string in sparkling form in time for Cheltenham's opening fixture of the season, and enjoyed a four-timer at Ffos Las on Thursday, including one who won at doube-figure odds.
Lisbane Park must be one of the high hopes for the yard, and he certainly looks an exciting prospect for handicaps, at least, this Autumn.
The six-year-old gelding has run consistently well when running against decent opposition at a relatively early stage of his career.
He looks every inch a chaser, and appears very well handicapped off an opening mark of just 120. It is also no surprise that Tizzard has switched him to fences quickly.
The selection finished runner-up in an Irish point-to-point and, even though others in this strong field have a bit more experience jumping fences, most have to concede weight to this exciting prospect.

1.30 Doncaster: Noble Exhibit
Tipster: Ross Millar.
Aidan O'Brien has won five of the last ten runnings of this race and had a battalion of colts still entered at the five-day stage. Of the three remaining, it's Noble Exhibit that makes the most appeal. The son of Frankel shaped well on his debut over seven furlongs before taking a sizeable step forward when destroying, an admittedly moderate field, in a mile maiden at Punchestown.
He was then backed up just eleven days later when taking the Beresford Stakes in commanding fashion, a race won last year by Hawk Mountain who then took last year's renewal of this contest.
Slower ground shouldn't be an inconvenience and he can win this ahead of Burning Up who should be more at home on this flatter track having struggled to handle the Newmarket dip last time.

2.20 Cheltenham: Seaniecon
Tipster: RaceiQ nap of the day (Andy Stephens).
Unlucky fifth at Punchestown in April when he got hampered turning for home. Had recovered all his momentum by the finish, with his final furlong of 14.43sec being easily best.
He also got a Jump Index score of 8.1, which was almost best. He's the RaceiQ nap of the day on Saturday.
2.55 Cheltenham: Uncle Bert
Tipster: Harry Allwood.
Jumping hasn't always been his forte, but fresh looks the best time to catch Uncle Bert, and he looks to hold solid claims of striking again on his seasonal debut.
Bar one mistake, he jumped well en route to victory on his return to action at Aintree in December last year (off a rating of 132), and it was a similar scenario when successful following a 165-day absence in 2023. He disappointed on his first start during the 2024-25 season, but probably found two miles too sharp that day.
Nigel and Willy Twiston-Davies remain in red-hot form having operated at a strike-rate of 23 per cent in the past fortnight, and this will have surely been Uncle Bert's early-season target.
Soft ground, and this trip, are also positives, and it will be disappointing if Uncle Bert doesn't bounce back to form returning from a break here, despite being 3lb above his last winning mark.

5.05 Doncaster: Prosperitas
Tipster: Martin Dixon.
Prosperitas was an easy winner of this corresponding race over course and distance last autumn, on very testing ground, causing an upset at 33-1. He won’t be anything like that price this time, but that was a highly impressive performance.
He hasn’t had much racing as a four-year-old, and he remains unexposed on testing ground, with both of his wins coming when the mud has been flying.
Conditions on Saturday should be his absolute optimum. He returned from a break at Kempton in September and shaped well, travelling with plenty of enthusiasm despite not getting a clear run, which suggests he’s in good form.
He should also get a strong pace to aim at, with front-runners Highland Olly, Magic Boy and It’s A Ten From Len all in the field, and a strong gallop allows him to settle and fully relax into his race.
A lightly-raced four-year-old who is unexposed on ground that clearly suits him, he’s racing off just 4lb higher than when winning this race 12 months ago and still looks potentially very well handicapped.
