2.33 Kelso: Maghlaak

There is no doubt that this horse is well-handicapped over hurdles given he is effective on the Flat from marks in the mid 80s and gets to race here off a mark of 115.
When last seen over hurdles in a slightly higher grade at Market Rasen, he finished an excellent second and that was trying two and a half miles for the first time
He is kept to that trip today and, if he can put a slightly below par run on the Flat last time behind him, he looks sure to go close here.

2.43 Tipperary: Deepone

Paddy Twomey has his horses in great form and Deepone is a stand out in this field having been dropped in class. He ran a cracker when third to the very useful Trustyourinstinct in the Group Three International Stakes at the Curragh.
He is lightly-raced and his past five races have seen him meet better company than he faces here, and he has previous placed form at this track. He looks to be a solid play.

2.59 Killarney: Friary Road

Friary Road looked to be a different horse to the one who had ran disappointingly on the Flat over the summer when he made his hurdling debut at Navan.
With a tongue tie refitted, he travelled powerfully and jumped well, recording a RaceiQ Jump Index of 7.1. He would have won more comfortably had he not been hampered two out. He looks capable of following up.

3.18 Tipperary: Love Me Tender

This horse is an exciting prospect having won a bumper and then a maiden hurdle at Kilbeggan.
He was most impressive in winning on his hurdling debut by 18 lengths where he made all of the running and quickened clear of his rivals with ease.
He finished with plenty in the tank that day and will be hard to beat with much bigger targets this winter on his radar.
