Star two-mile performers declared at Leopardstown on Sunday

Solness and Marine Nationale, first and second in the Ladbrokes Dublin Chase 12 months ago, are among six runners in this year’s renewal on Sunday.
Joseph O’Brien’s Solness also fended off the late thrust of the current champion chaser Marine Nationale over the same course and distance at Christmas, when Barry Connell’s star made a desperate early mistake.
There is also Willie Mullins’ Majborough to contend with and his stablemate Energumene, a dual Champion Chase winner who will be at home in testing conditions. Found A Fifty and Senecia complete the field.
Lossiemouth and Brighterdaysahead meet once more in the Timeless Sash Windows Irish Champion Hurdle.
There was not much between them at Christmas when Brighterdaysahead was having her first run of the campaign.
Anzadam, El Fabiolo and Poniros also go for Mullins, with Elliott’s Casheldale Lad completing the field.
In the Tattersalls Ireland Novice Hurdle over two miles Mullins will be hoping to unearth a leading Supreme candidate.
He runs King Rasko Grey, The Reverend, Le Divin Enfant and Davy Crockett. Elliott is represented by Ballyfad and Koktail Brut.
There has been plenty of chat about the O’Brien-trained Talk The Talk since he fell at the last with a Grade One seemingly at his mercy at the Christmas meeting, however.
Final Demand has looked Mullins’ banker of the meeting for some time and he faces just four rivals in the Ladbrokes Novice Chase.
He easily accounted for stablemate Jimmy Du Seuil at Limerick and the two clash again with Kaid d’Authie also representing Mullins.
Elliott’s Western Fold and the Jonathan Sweeney-trained Rushmount have also been declared.
