Surely Kalpana is worth taking on as favourite here, and Willie Mullins’ contender has a great deal going for him each-way at the 10-1 on offer on this ground, given his reliability.
Jan Brueghel also looks vulnerable after a hard race at Epsom last time out when he never really travelled.

However, if one contender fits the profile for a race like this, it is Dermot Weld's Bay Of Stars, who has plenty going for him.

Since the tongue tie was applied, he has been performing really well, and it is said that fast ground is important to him.
I cannot see how is so much bigger (15-2) than Le Destrier (9-4), a far from certain stayer clearly flattered by his proximity last time behind Scandinavia when third at Leopardstown.
