Ross Millar's tips: "she's capable of leaving this mark of 89 behind her"
By Ross Millar
Last Updated: Thu 29 Oct 2026
Ross Millar shares his four best bets for Tuesday's action, with selections at Bangor and Newcastle.
12.56 Newcastle: Wilde's Legacy
Ross Millar
Finished: 1stSP: 4/7
Won her first two bumpers and wasn't disgraced when finishing mid-division in the Champion bumper.
It will be a bitter disappointment if she doesn't get her hurdle campaign off to a winning start.
2.31 Newcastle: Rocheval
Ross Millar
Finished: 3rdSP: 10/3
Acquitted himself well in junior bumpers and hurdles two seasons ago but went winless last season. He did though run some good races in defeat.
He's down to a career low mark of 113 and now switches to fences, he was neat and clever over hurdles and I'm confident that skill set will see him progress into an even better chaser.

3.16 Bangor: Kel Du Large
Ross Millar
Finished: 4thSP: 4/1
He proved a bit disappointing last season managing just a sole win over hurdles. He's hinted at being better than this mark and a switch to fences along with a move to a yard that have started the season in good form can see him progress further.
4.16 Bangor: Pappariche
Ross Millar
Finished: 3rdSP: 14/1
She caught the eye on her handicap hurdle debut at Chepstow just over a fortnight ago when upped markedly in trip where she made steady progress before a lack of race-fitness told.
A point-point winner on heavy ground she's capable of leaving this mark of 89 behind her now switched to fences.
