2.30 Haydock: Moonrunner
Has clearly been slow to come to hand, not making his debut until December of his three-year-old campaign. That run over a mile was not devoid of promise as he finished off well in the closing stages.
His seasonal return over 1m3f at Southwell saw another step in the right direction as he again showed some strong late work. With the benefit of that run, he can shed his maiden tag at the third attempt.
4.38 Haydock: There's A Chance
Showed promise in a busy enough juvenile season, but failed to build on his handicap debut win off a mark of 69.
However, given that the runner-up, who he beat by a widening length when conceding 1lb, is now rated 75, I'm confident this elevated mark of 75 is not beyond him.
He was rusty on his seasonal return when a slow start gave him an uphill task, so his eventual finishing position of third was a positive. If breaking on terms this time he can land this.
5.18 Limerick: Look To The West
It's obviously not ideal that Henry De Bromhead's mare has fallen on her last two chase starts, however, despite those form figures, she's generally a sound jumper.
She drops into calmer waters here and granted a clear round has been found a winnable opportunity by her in form trainer who has saddled three winners from his last five runners.
