Top tipster Dave Nevison bids to get a new week off to a flying start with his three selections across Huntingdon, live on Racing TV, and Lingfield.
2.10 Lingfield: Hengest
Dylan Cunha turns this lightly-raced gelding out again under a penalty after his impressive win at Windsor last week.
That was Hengest’s first run in a handicap after progressing nicely in three outings in novice events, and it definitely appears as though the handicapper has been particularly lenient with the opening mark, given the ease of his success.
He is not a 0-70 handicapper, and shouldn’t have a problem running in this grade once more, or defying top weight, especially now he is stepped up two furlongs, which is likely to suit him even better.
4.45 Lingfield: Call Glory
Call Glory has been most consistent on his recent outings, and deserves a win plus is up against a bunch of exposed rivals here.
He is seemingly equally as effective over six and seven furlongs, and this easy seven furlongs at Lingfield could prove an ideal trip.
Ryan Kavanagh gets on well with the selection, and the combination’s turn for a victory is well overdue.

7.30 Huntingdon: Sunray Shadow
Sunray Shadow has won a bumper and a maiden hurdle for Dan Skelton, but hasn’t quite scaled the heights some of his stablemates have.
However, he definitely showed that he can win a handicap with a good second at Uttoxeter last time out.
He has gone back up 3lb since that effort, but is still below his tough opening mark and, now he has hit form, I think he can get back to winning ways.
Tristan Durrell had an extremely good campaign last season, but Harry Skelton taking over is definitely still a positive.
