2.25 Curragh: Andab
Andab had some high-class form last season as a juvenile, most notably when fourth in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot.
He was a disappointing favourite at Newcastle last time out when racing lazily, and got going too late. It's therefore no surprise to see connections reach for cheekpieces now, and if they have the desired effect, he's the class horse in the race.
Joseph O'Brien's charge should be more than capable of winning this contest.
4.38 Fakenham: Always Busy
Has run well on both of his past two starts, latterly over 3m4f at Taunton where he did, on occasions, jump out to his left.
Small mistakes at each of the last two fences cost him momentum and, given how strongly he finished, it's not hard to think he'd have won, has he jumped better.
He steps up in trip here, goes back left-handed, and represents connections who do particularly well at this track, so he's the pick.
5.13 Fakenham: Secret Vino
This Tom Ellis-trained gelding is an extremely strong traveller, but doesn't do much when getting to the front, and it is for that reason he doesn't arrive here looking for a fourth win in a row.
He was a convincing course-and-distance winner last time out, and the form has worked out well, with both the runner-up and the third scoring since.
He's up in class, and 8lb higher in the weights, but that might work in his favour, as Jack Andrews should be able to ride a patient race off a stronger pace.
Secret Vino has got the class to win this, as long as he does not hit the front too soon.
