2.10 Carlisle: Yafaarr
In three runs over seven furlongs this season, Yafaarr has finished a little closer to the winner on each occasion.
The excellent Sam England has moved him up to 1m1f for this assignment, which looks significant, and he's definitely been found a winnable race, with several exposed veterans amongst his opposition.
It could also be a positive that top apprentice Jack Nicholls is engaged for the first time this season. Nicholls claims a useful 3lb which, if included in calculations, puts Yafaarr on a mark a pound lower than his only win so far.
A good run looks assured.

3.10 Carlisle: Get Up Everybody
Get Up Everybody is still a maiden, but has been knocking on the door, with several strong recent efforts.
I haven’t seen a temperamental display for him not winning, but I am hopeful the application of cheekpieces might just focus the Paul Midgley-trained gelding enough to get him past the post first in this modest sprint handicap.
He may have gone close to breaking his duck last time out but for getting a bump late on, and I have no doubt his turn is near.
4.45 Carlisle: Finn Ironside
Finn Ironside has been running himself into form this season while gradually dropping in the handicap, and is now back to a winning mark, which is a pound lower than when gaining his most recent win last August.
He had a six-week break before his latest start, which may well have been beneficial as he finished a good third at Doncaster, when beaten just over a length.
A repeat of that may be good enough to score here.
