Ross Millar shares his three best bets at Carlisle to start the week, with every race and all the analysis live on Racing TV.
2.30 Carlisle: Speeding Bullet
He enjoyed a productive time last season, either winning or placing when dropping back to sprint trips upon joining Paul Midgley from Richard Hannon.
There's every chance he was in need of his first start for 238 days when running poorly at Newcastle over six furlongs last month, but he did show good speed before weakening out of contention.
His yard are in good form and this mark, and ground, give him a sound chance.
3.30 Carlisle: Lord
There's a chance he's been let in lightly on his handicap debut off a mark of 74. A winner of two Listed hurdles this winter, he has the potential to improve significantly now up in trip and moving into handicap company. He can dominate this contest.
4.00 Carlisle: Wezzeer
He has progressed with each of his two starts, both times over six furlongs. On his first start, he showed signs of immaturity, before producing a strong finishing effort to run into third.
He then showed the benefit of that experience when getting the best of a protracted battle to win at Southwell last time.
Both performances suggest the extra furlong he faces here should elicit further improvement and, as a result, he's the one to beat.
