RaceiQ’s suite of metrics and underlying data is now freely available to users on racingtv.com and the Racing TV mobile app.
Since launching in late 2023, RaceiQ’s data-driven insights and pioneering metrics have gained traction and interest across the sport, and have quickly become a staple part of race analysis on Racing TV and ITV Racing.
Users will now be able to access this data for free on the new and improved Results pages of the Racing TV website and app.
The data will be available minutes after the end of every British and Irish race, and it has been backdated to March 2023 for British races and January 2024 for Irish races. Sectionals data has also been fully integrated, with unique datapoints and display features for every horse - and every furlong - of every British and Irish race.
Core RaceiQ metrics such as Jump Index, Lengths Gained Jumping, and 0-20MPH are available in the main race result for each runner, as well as in the all-new RaceiQ Comparison tab, which will enable users to quickly compare how runners fared on each metric.
Alongside the core RaceiQ metrics are underlying jumping datapoints, which are used to power the jumping metrics, and stride data, featuring a horse’s minimum / average / maximum outputs for stride length and stride frequency.
New features have been introduced to help present the data in as visual a way as possible, these include race ranks and colour-coded “Performance Bars”.
Racingtv.com is the only mainstream resource where users can access British and Irish sectionals data for free.
This data is now housed within the result page, with new features such as a horse’s position throughout the race, its cumulative time from the leader, and pace graphs all available for every furlong of every race. In addition, colour-coded RaceiQ Par Sectionals and the RaceiQ Time Index will be displayed for every Flat race.
