Peter Fahey is leaning towards the Coral Cup with Peregrine Run if conditions are suitable at the Cheltenham Festival next month. The seven-year-old gelding was a fine Grade Two winner at the track in November - his fourth success on the spin - but he failed to land a blow in the Leamington at Warwick last month.County Kildare-based Fahey said:"Peregrine Run will either go for the Coral Cup or the Albert Bartlett." He went on: "We will see what weight he has in the Coral Cup, and if we are happy he'll probably go for that. "I shouldn't have run him the last day in Warwick. I said all the time that I wouldn't run him on heavy ground."He didn't run too bad but I really shouldn't have run him."He seems great and did a nice bit of work during the week."If the ground is good he'll go to Cheltenham but he won't go unless the ground is good."
