Onenightidreamed checks in for Concorde Stakes at Tipperary

Wed 27 Sep 2017

Onenightidreamed is set to make his first competitive appearance since the spring in the Coolmore Stud Home Of Champions Concorde Stakes at Tipperary on Sunday.

After finishing third in the Listed Heritage Stakes at Leopardstown in early April, the six-year-old gelding landed a conditions race at Tipperary the following week, but has not been seen since.

Trainer Fozzy Stack also had Alexios Komnenos and Diamond Fields entered for this weekend's Group Three contest, but has only one contender after Tuesday's confirmation stage.

He said: "Onenightidreamed will be our only runner.

"He hasn't run since April, just because he wants soft ground, really.

"The other two horses are finished for the year."

Onenightidreamed is among 22 horses left in the Concorde Stakes.

Othe contenders include Gordon Lord Byron, Silverkode, Psychedelic Funk, Spanish Tenor and Rose De Pierre.
