Queen Kindly ended a 12-month lean spell by taking the Listed spoils in the EBF Stallions Highfield Farm Flying Fillies' Stakes at Pontefract.
Out of luck since winning the Group Two Lowther Stakes at York, the Richard Fahey-trained daughter of Frankel finally got her head back in front.
Tom Eaves kicked for home early in the straight on the 7-4 favourite and it proved a wise move as the pack closed in near the finish of the six-furlong feature.
Eartha Kitt grabbed second place, just a head behind at the line, with Classical Times and Raven's Lady dead-heating for third - just half a length further in arrears.
Bruce Raymond, racing manager for owner Jaber Abdullah, told Press Association Sport: "We're obviously delighted she won. It was tough for her out in front.
"She's better as a hold-up filly but she was running too keen for Tom so he did the right thing and let her bowl along. It worked out well.
"She's open to all those fillies' Group races and it was important for her to win as a three-year-old.
"She's very quick and I think she can go on to better things."
Eaves was given a two-day ban (September 3-4) for using his whip above the permitted level.
