Friday's National Hunt meeting at Bangor is subject to a precautionary inspection at 8am on raceday morning. The Wrexham circuit is due to stage a seven-race card and the going is currently described as soft, heavy in places. While the track is raceable at present, temperatures are due to dip below freezing on Thursday night and clerk of the course Andrew Morris felt it prudent to announce an official check."We're hopeful," said Morris."It's going to be cold tonight and most forecasts are saying we could get down to zero or minus 1C."However, there are a couple of forecasts that say we could get clearer skies and it might be a bit colder than that, so we'll see what happens."We know it's going to be cold on Friday, possibly getting up to between 2C and 4C."We're showing a bit of prudency, more than anything."
