Thursday tips: Dave Nevison has found a Dream bet

Our betting expert Dave Nevison likes a trio in action at Warwick. Watch how his selections fare live on Racing TV.

2.58 Warwick: Junior Des Mottes

I am still smarting at missing the Freddie Keighly-ridden big-priced winner on Saturday and this short-priced option will not be much in the way of compensation, but the excellent young rider will surely be able to steer this one home.
Junior Des Mottes is only modest but, in this grade, against pedestrian opposition, he is a champion and should easily be able to defy top weight.
Rookie trainer Nick Schofield is doing brilliantly this season and has placed this seven-year-old very well to win twice already, and even though beaten at a short price last time out he still ran well over a distance that may now be a little sharp for him.
Blinkers replaced cheekpieces on this occasion and he is set to win again.

3.28 Warwick: Kap De Triomphe

Christian Williams is by no means a one-dimensional trainer but he does follow a very well-trodden path with horses that are going to make up into staying chasers.
Kap De Triomphe won a bumper before joining the Williams yard and was then unplaced in eight hurdle races (going off at very big prices) before he won a handicap off a mark of 84 last time out.
He has been immediately switched to fences and runs off the same rating as his hurdles win and it is safe to assume he might be very well in here. He made all the running last time and with no likely pacesetters among the opposition here he could well do the same if taking to jumping fences.

4.30 Warwick: Fever Dream

This competitive handicap chase stands out on the Warwick card and I am hoping it proves to be a good meeting for Christian Williams.
Fever Dream is a good ground chaser and missed the depths of winter after a couple of early season wins.
He returned recently and certainly seemed to be fresh and well after his break. He put up his best performance finishing second at Kempton. Under similar conditions, and with Jack Tudor, who has won on him twice back, on board, Fever Dream has a good chance of landing his third chase of the season.
