Inside Angle: Martin Dixon has three fancies on Saturday

I'm always keen when punting to be forgiving of a below-par run and I'm happy to do that with Princess Rascal (15-2 at the time of writing), who ran too badly to be true on her all-weather debut at Kempton last time.

She's been given a break since that disappointment in early August and I'd been impressed with her progress before then, getting up late at Salisbury on her second start before running a blinder under a penalty at Windsor when showing a good attitude in defeat in a race run in a good time.

She's proven with some ease in the ground, so the forecast overnight rain isn't a concern and she's looked to me like a strong stayer which I expect will be an asset under the likely conditions. 

This is a competitive fillies handicap with the likes of Hot Flame and Orionis having obvious chances but at odds of 13/2 at the time of writing Miss Wong looks a good value price.

A big, late-maturing filly, Miss Wong has thrived in this second half of the season and she tanked her way through the race at Yarmouth last time, then picked up strongly to go clear of some in-form rivals to win with loads in hands.

I think a 6lb rise underestimates that performance and any rain won't inconvenience her. 

Tim Easterby is mob handed with five runners in this valuable series final and Leadenhall may find it a shade easier than some of the very competitive handicaps he's contested this year.

He's been busy since the spring but has held his form admirably, winning twice, and his latest third at Newcastle last Sunday was an eye-catching effort as he finished with a wet sail from too far back.

His mark of 79 is very workable, just 1lb higher than for his last win, and I think a strongly-run race, which this should be, with some ease in the ground, is his perfect combination. 

Oisin Orr is a positive jockey booking, whilst a low draw on this straight track is rarely a disadvantage.
