Fry will monitor the weather before deciding if he will give
If The Cap Fits another run ahead of the Sky Bet Supreme Novices' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival.
The six-year-old, who is a general 10-1 shot for the Grade One contest on March 13, maintained his unbeaten record over hurdles with victory at Kempton on Boxing Day.

Fry said: "He has come out of his race at Kempton very well and we are delighted with the progress he has made this season. He will be entered in the Supreme and the Ballymore at Cheltenham, but the race I am favouring at this stage is the Supreme."
He went on: "We will see how the weather pans out before deciding on another run, but it is only nine weeks until the opening day of the Festival.
"He is a very light-framed horse that doesn't take masses of work and he is certainly not a horse to run in testing ground. He will certainly not run this month.
"We will keep our options open and see how he is doing, and what the weather is doing, before making any decisions."
American could try to bounce back from pulling up in the Ladbrokes Trophy at Newbury in the BetBright Trial Cotswold Chase at Cheltenham on January 27.
Fry said: "American is fine in himself. We just had to give him a chance to get over the run at Newbury. As I said before, his inexperience told in that race.

"We are trying to get him back to his best and we may have a look at the Cotswold Chase at the end of the month. There are not too many options off his mark.
"It is a possibility, but I am yet to commit to it. We will discuss it with his owners, then make a decision."
Triple Grade One winner Unowhatimeanharry will not attempt to win back-to-back renewals of the galliardhomes.com Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham on January 27.

The 10-year-old could instead head straight to the Sun Bets Stayers' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival in March.
Unowhatimeanharry made a winning return to action at Aintree in November but has been beaten in two subsequent starts, most recently when third behind Sam Spinner in the Long Walk Hurdle at Ascot last month.
Fry said: "There are no immediate plans, albeit he is going to skip the Cleeve Hurdle at Cheltenham.
"There was no excuses at Ascot. He was not good enough on the day and he was just beaten by the younger, progressive horse.
"He is now 10 and he is going to be vulnerable to progressive horses. He has still got plenty of life in him and we are looking forward to seeing him back to his very best.
"We will use the time between now and March to hopefully get him 100 per cent."
