Dave Nevison selected a 9-2 winner on Wednesday, plus found an 11-1 winner on Tuesday, and our in-form tipster makes a case for his three selections at Newmarket on Friday, live on Racing TV.

1.15 Newmarket: Fenlander
This five-year-old gelding has only had five runs since he joined Olly Williams, and after three runs over six furlongs, the decision to drop him down to the minimum trip has proved a masterstroke, with two wins on his past two starts.
Fenlander won nicely over this course and distance, and quickly followed up at Leicester, a course he also enjoys, in very good style last time out.
He won 2½ lengths last week and even though he carries a double penalty, he is only 5lb higher than last time, which won’t stop him.
A sprinter in form at this time of year is a valuable asset, and Fenlander has plenty going for him here under Warren Fentiman, who won on him two starts ago.

2.55 Newmarket: Be Frank (e/w)
Be Frank has run well every time he has raced over the Rowley Mile, including when winning a 0-80 here in 2025.
It is fair to say he has had a couple of false dawns recently, but he is down to his lowest ever handicap mark, and there were signs he was getting ready to win again last time out.
He was a never-nearer fourth in a competitive event at Kempton when last seen, and wasn’t given the hardest time by champion jockey Billy Loughnane once it was clear he wasn’t close enough to mount a challenge.
Over a track he likes, and with cheekpieces an interesting addition to sharpen him up early in the race, the Ian Williams-trained gelding looks likely to go well at an each-way price.

From a handicapping standpoint, it looks impossible to oppose Amused who bids to follow-up his long overdue success in an apprentice handicap over this course and distance last week.
He has no penalty and is able to race off the same mark here. Ground conditions are also forecast to be exactly the same on Friday (all successes have come on easy ground), and the number of runners is just about the same, so it is difficult to imagine him not going well here.
