Friday tips: Dave Nevison shares his best bets at Warwick and Exeter

1.40 Warwick: Siberian Star

Siberian Star has been running consistently well at this lowly grade over hurdles and fences this season having enjoyed a point-to-point campaign last year.
He ran okay from 9lb out of the handicap in the BetGoodwin Sussex National last time but has his sights lowered in this staying handicap hurdle plus is back off his correct mark here.
Given the way he has been staying on, albeit slowly, this step up to 3m2f over hurdles looks very much the right way to go, and his inexperienced rider has already ridden him to finish second this season.
With the Bowen yard in good form, this looks a decent opportunity for Abigail Voyce to record her first winner.
3.30 Exeter: Neo King

Evan Williams appears to have decided that this young chaser is one for extreme distances, and I am prepared to side with him, even though last time Neo King definitely tied up over three miles and lost a position close home.
The hope for me is that was down to fitness, and lack of experience over fences, and on soft ground at this stiffest of tracks, I can forgive most horses for not getting home.
The ground is set to be good to soft on Friday, and he has bottom weight, so the seven-year-old has a lot in his favour.
4.30 Exeter: Speiriuil

Finished: 6thSP: 6/1
Nigel Hawke’s charge looked more than likely to follow up his Lingfield success when unseating his rider at Ludlow on his penultimate start. He has since reappeared in a better race than this at Sandown, and finished a very respectable fourth.
He stayed on well when winning over two furlongs less than this on heavy ground at Lingfield in November and I don’t imagine the slightly longer distance being too much for him.
He should go well at an each-way price in what is a wide-open race.
