Evan Williams considers bypassing Cheltenham with Evening Hush

Evening Hush could skip the Cheltenham Festival and wait for the other major meetings in the spring instead. While Evan Williams remains convinced his filly is of the highest calibre, she was put in her place by Defi Du Seuil in the Finale Juvenile Hurdle at Chepstow. "We were beaten fair and square and the winner is a beautiful horse, but I just wonder if we can have her better," said Williams. "I just wonder if Cheltenham will be for her, they all go there, so we might just wait for Aintree."We could also look at Punchestown and there's the race for mares at Fairyhouse, too."There's even a Grade One for juveniles at Auteuil in June that people forget about. I'm convinced she's a Grade One filly."Apple's Jade managed to beat the boys at Aintree and it might be that she prefers a flat track."
