Sir Mark Prescott’s four-year-old is a consistent type, and lightly-raced compared to his rivals here. However, he looks as though he needs to do something different to win off his current mark, and this step up in trip might be just the ticket.
Flyawaydream will be fresher than most having not made his reappearance until this month where he again ran well to finish third, despite being hampered in the last furlong.
His past three runs have been on the all-weather, but his sole victory came on turf and I don’t anticipate any issue reverting back to grass here. His yard have been in terrific form this month, too.

This three-year-old has been very well placed by Richard Hughes and has already scored three times this season.
He now takes on older horses for the first time, but looks ready to take advantage of a useful weight-for-age allowance over staying trips.
Cinnodin’s dam was a stayer by Authorised, and her son has definitely taken after her, so this step up to two miles really looks set to suit.
With ten runners set to go to post, this will hopefully ensure a good gallop to make this a test. When things go right, the selection has shown himself capable of winning at 0-85 level, so this 0-70 handicap, against very exposed, older stayers, shouldn’t be beyond him.
Charlie Arthur won twice under William Carver last season, and the young rider is back on board here at a track that suits this seven-year-old very well.
Simon Hodgson’s charge improved from his reappearance effort with a decent third at this track last time out, and with slightly more progress, he could score here.
He is a pound lower than when he won on turf at Thirsk early last summer, so he has plenty in his favour here.
