Nicky Henderson confirmed Buveur D'Air will not run again before theCheltenham Festival, where the Stan James Champion Hurdle is his most likely target. Buveur D'Air made the switch back to the smaller obstacles after winning two novice chases when taking the Contenders Hurdle at Sandown on Saturday in impressive fashion. While the Champion is now very much on the radar, connections of the JP McManus-owned six-year-old will discuss all the options over hurdles and fences first before making a final decision."I left (the yard) early, but they all said he was good this morning. He didn't, to be fair, have a terribly hard race," Henderson told Racing UK."He certainly wouldn't run again before Cheltenham. Obviously that race was a switch back from chasing to go and do that."We've all got to talk about it (the Champion Hurdle). I can't see why not. There's lots of things going to happen. A lot of other horses will run again but he definitely wouldn't."
