On The Wire is back for the new jumps season, brought to you by BOYLESports! Andrew Blair White is joined by Mark Boylan, Donn McClean and Dan Overall, and the team reveal their ante-post bets for the months ahead and much more.
Donn McClean: Fleur In The Park for the King George
Donn's headline bet is Fleur In The Park, a Grade One winner trained by Andy Slattery, who is 33-1 for the King George at Kempton on Boxing Day.
"He's a big price for the King George," Donn said. "It might be that he's just not that class, but it might be that he is.
"I just think he's an underrated horse. I just don't think he should be as big as he is for the King George."
The seven-year-old is set to content the BetVictor, Remembering Envoi Allen Champion Chase at Down Royal on Saturday, and will bid to enhance his credential in the Down Royal feature.
"It might all come to nothing after Saturday," Donn admitted. "But at the moment, as things stand, I think there's every chance that he could be up in that class."
Donn also likes Kitzbuhel at 25-1 for the Cheltenham Gold Cup, following his Brown Advisory win. "I thought we found another dimension to him that day, that he was able to dig down deep and stay on up the hill," Donn said.
Mark Boylan: two to follow
Mark believes last season's juvenile hurdlers were stronger than the novices, and both his bets come from that crop.
Selma De Vary is his pick for the Mares' Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival. "I think 6-1, at the moment, is still more than fair from an ante-post standpoint."
His second is Narciso Has for the Arkle at 8-1, again at the Cheltenham Festival, if he goes chasing as Mark expects. "He just looks top, top drawer," he said. "I can't see him going three miles. It has to be the Arkle."

Dan Overall: a handicap snip and an each-way Cheltenham Festival play
Dan's first bet is Harry Lowes at a general 7-1 for the Greatwood Hurdle at Cheltenham's November meeting. He had a troubled run at Aintree and is rated just 128. "We know the Skeltons are masterful with these handicappers," Dan said.
For the Chelteham Festival, he's siding with former Champion Hurdle winner Golden Ace at 25-1 for the Mares' Hurdle.
"If they're looking for a showcase end to her career, the best winning opportunity will be in the Mares' Hurdle," he said. "When you can get three places now for a race that may well be six or seven runners on the day, she's definitely one to keep onside."

Horses for your Racing TV Tracker
Our top tea, also named plenty of horses to follow. They included Joseph O'Brien's Sefton winner Zeus Power, Henry de Bromhead's Koktail Divin, and Gordon Elliott's Darby O'Gill.
Mark Boylan pointed out that horses arriving from France are now handicapped the same way in Ireland as in Britain. That could mean "something a bit more exposed" turning up in the early-season handicaps.
