The Sky Bet Sunday Series gets underway at Musselburgh this weeekend and I have three selections at that meeting plus one at Wetherby. Both meetings will be shown live on Racing TV. Best of luck!
The progeny of Blue Point have made a bright start on the racecourse and Blue Prince looks to have strong claims of keeping that theme going here.
The youngster made a promising start to his career here where he shaped a lot better than his finishing position of fifth suggests.
The fact he was well backed suggests he had shown ability at home and although he did not reward his supporters, he flashed plenty of promise amid obvious inexperience.
He also met some trouble in running, which meant he could not fully demonstrate his true ability. He can make amends here.
Arrange still looks well treated and can land this competitive handicap returning from a break at a track she has won at before.
She bolted up at Musselburgh last season off a rating of 70 and still looks reasonably well treated off 79.
Her final start last season saw her finish an excellent second at Pontefract and she may still be improving.
Martin Todhunter's charge is a strong traveller who is well drawn here in stall one, and the speed figures she has achieved suggest she will be very competitive off this rating.
The Charlie Johnston team are in good form and they can land another win with this tough and game individual.
Urban Sprawl won his final two starts last season when showing a good attitude, and the step up in trip to a mile looks certain to suit.
He is a front runner, which is an ideal run style for the round course at this track, and I think he will be able to dominate this race out in front from stall seven.
He should be tough to pass at a track that will surely bring out the best in him.
William Buick heads to Wetherby for two rides on Sunday and I believe his journey will be made worthwhile by winning on Golden Maverick.
The step up to a mile last time out on his handicap debut brought about an improved performance from this gelding at Southwell where he was narrowly beaten into third off a rating of 55.
He gets to race off the same mark here and is clearly unexposed over this trip. This is a weak contest that this unexposed handicapper can take in his stride.
