Hamilton Park Racecourse

Hamilton Park has been described as the Goodwood of the North, but many in Scotland call Goodwood the Hamilton Park of the South! The Lanarkshire track plays host to an incredible calendar of action with a range of fixtures to suit everyone’s taste. The Saturdays Series, including Ladies’ Night and Family Day make a return as do firm favourites Braveheart Night, Saints & Sinners Racenight, Heineken UK Mid-Fair Friday and Ladbrokes Lanark Silver Bell Racenight.

Kelso Racecourse

Kelso Grandstand Jumps racing

Situated in the heart of the Scottish Borders, this popular track is known as “Britain’s Friendliest Racecourse”. Kelso stages Jumps fixtures from September through until May. The Roxburghshire track has a charm of its own and, especially in the build-up to the Cheltenham and Grand National Festivals, it attracts an impressive quality of horses both over hurdles and over fences. Features races include the Borders National, the Morebattle Hurdle and the Buccleuch Cup

Musselburgh Racecourse

Musselburgh Races 2

Musselburgh Racecourse is firmly established as one of the UK’s most stylish racecourses, offering award-winning facilities in a 5-star visitor attraction, located only 6 miles from Edinburgh, with excellent transport links and free parking. There’s something for everyone with racing hosted throughout the year. Features to look out for include The Queen’s Cup and the Cheltenham Trials card in February. On the social front, Ladies Day in June is a huge event and the advice is to book early as the day is always a sell-out.

Perth Racecourse

Horse Racing - Perth Festival - Day Two - Perth Racecourse

Set in the stunning grounds of Scone Palace, Perth Racecourse was described as “a little piece of heaven” by the Times newspaper. Perth starts the season with the vibrant 3-day Perth Festival in April and continues with summer Jump racing action until September.

The valuable Energy Check City of Perth Gold Cup is staged in June and always produces a great spectacle in the grounds of Scone Palace where ancient Kings and Queens such as Robert The Bruce and Mary Queen Of Scots were crowned. The two-day Glorious Finale in September is definitely not one to miss either.
