William Haggas might hold the key to this maiden, with MUKHTALIF getting the nod to build on an encouraging debut effort at Nottingham at the beginning of June. The yard's newcomer Golden Horse cost 425,000 gns as a yearling and it'll be interesting to see how much confidence there is behind him in the betting. Port of London is another newcomer representing top connections. Gallic Legend is also shortlisted on the back of a promising C&D reappearance.

Race Hints
Specific Pace Hint: Royal Emblem might not get things all its own way near the head of affairs but shouldn’t be held back by that alone: The forecast decent pace still isn’t likely to sway the advantage towards those usually ridden further back such as is Golden Horse.
