Yanworth is set to return to Exeter for his second run over fences after getting off the mark there in promising fashion.

Trainer Alan King was satisfied with the top-class hurdler's first effort over the bigger obstacles in disposing of Sternrubin by a cosy two lengths, and the Barbury Castle handler expects Yanworth to improve a lot on that display.

King said: "He will go back to Exeter on November 15. That's the plan if everything is fine with him.

"It was job done and we were very happy with him.

"He had a really good blow and he will come on a bundle for that."

King is looking to run Sceau Royal at Warwick for his next start over fences after the five-year-old's narrow defeat by North Hill Harvey at Cheltenham on Friday.

Sceau Royal had made a winning debut over fences at Warwick and King has found another suitable opportunity at the same track.

"He will go to Warwick for the Highflyer Novices' Chase," the trainer said.

"It is for four- and five-year-olds only and it looks the ideal place to take him. That's where he will go as long as he is OK.

"He ran an absolute blinder and there were no excuses, he was beaten by a better horse on the day. Five pounds is five pounds and that possibly made a difference, but there were no excuses for him."
