Wincanton call precautionary check

This afternoon's meeting at Wincanton must pass a precautionary inspection at 8.30am if it is to go ahead.The going is reported to be heavy, with standing water in places following 12 millimetres of rain so far this morning.Officials are keen to check conditions in daylight before giving the meeting the green light, so they will hold an inspection.
