1.45 Sandown: Forever Glamorous

This a tricky five-furlong handicap contested by largely very exposed sprinters who win in their turn at best.

Forever Glamorous might be the least exposed of these being the three-year-old in amongst older horses and might just go well at this stiff track.

We are used to seeing these “Glamorous” horses blasting over the minimum trip but this latest version may be very well suited by a stiffer track as he has been plugging on well on one or two of his latest runs.

4.05 Sandown: Luminare

William Haggas couldn’t be in stronger form currently with eight winners from his last 20 runners before racing on Tueday. I am on his favourite for the Ayr Gold Cup Binharee so am very hopeful this run of form continues.

It will be pleasing if this filly can keep the yard form ticking over and Luminare definitely deserves a reward for her recent consistency.

The thee-year-old filly hasn’t enjoyed the best of runs but has still run very well on her latest two starts so deserves a change of luck in running.

A strong pace around Sandown will be ideal as it is difficult to imagine lack of spce being an issue at this track so a good run looks assured given the yard’s current form.

4.18 Beverley: Brummell

Brummel, who is unbeaten in two runs at Beverley hasn’t raced in 0-80 company since he won the second of those course and distance successes back in April 2025.

Julie Camacho’s charge has won a couple of races since and is generally a consistent performer and definitely signalled he was on the way back to top form at Doncaster last time finishing third and sandwiched between tow next time out winners.

He has won twice for his 5lb claiming jockey who is on board for the first time this season and dropped in grade with a favourable low draw his chance is obvious.
