Wednesday tips: Dave Nevison has one more pick after 100-30 winner

1.22 Warwick: Following Chapter

Alistair Ralph’s gelding went off at massive prices in three runs over hurdles and predictably never showed that much though, there was a modicum of promise on his final start when fourth at 125-1 at Ludlow.
He reappeared last month in a 0-105 handicap hurdle at Hereford and significantly, was backed into 10-3 second favourite. He ran okay, but was a bit too fresh and keen, and also probably found the trip too sharp to land the odds.
I definitely think there is a race in him and this step up in trip should suit in what looks a winnable event.
1.52 Warwick: Cornish Comedy

Robbie Llewellyn has had a terrific time of it in December and his team could not be in better form since Christmas.
Cornish Comedy was switched to fences last time off a basement mark and improved greatly on his poor hurdles form. He finished second in a competitive handicap for this grade at Hereford and really wouldn’t have to improve much on that form to land this.
He might eventually want to go further than this two and a half miles to be at his best, but he jumped okay on his debut and off bottom weight, despite a 2lb rise, is definitely the one to beat.
2.22 Warwick: Jolie Baie
Jolie Baie took a couple of runs to hit winning form last season and, after having a wind operation, it looks like it could be similar story this time around.
She improved a little from her reappearance last time when second at Uttoxeter and was still plugging on well over that 2m7f trip.
She is only 4lb higher than her win at Ffos Las and the extra three furlongs here is well within her range. Finn Lambert has twice been placed on her and is able to claim his full 3lb allowance in this.
