Top tipster Dave Nevison has one selection at Newcastle on Tuesday, plus two from Pontefract - live on Racing TV.
3.48 Pontefract: Bravo Zulu
Bravo Zulu is really interesting in this 0-80 handicap and can score for the first time this season.
David Loughnane dropped this gelding down to six furlongs for the first time at Redcar last week and he finished an excellent second in what was a slightly higher grade than this.
He is definitely effective over this trip, but last time, it looked as though a stiffer track such as Pontefract would suit him very well, hitting a flat spot mid-race before keeping on powerfully. He is off the same mark in this race.

4.48 Pontefract: Finlaggan
Finlaggan has been beaten at short prices on his two latest starts, but I am happy to give this lightly-raced maiden a chance to make amends here.
The ex-French gelding raced twice for David O’Meara over shorter trips, but improved massively when second in a handicap over this course and distance on his penultimate start. He just failed to get up after arriving a little too late on the scene.
He was then backed heavily at Ripon, but patently failed to handle the undulations of that track. Returned to Pontefract, he has a real opportunity to break his maiden.
8.15 Newcastle: Criminal Shore
Criminal Shore has finally arrived at a mark 1lb lower than the mark he won a handicap off last season and so may be worth supporting here.
The handicapper has been reluctant to drop the four-year-old because he usually runs his race and didn’t do at all badly on his latest effort at Newcastle over seven furlongs.
This evening’s trip of a mile should suit him better and I expect him to at least go close again this time.
