Tuesday tips: Dave Nevison's three best bets

Tony Carroll runs plenty of his team at Brighton and although Mumayaz hasn’t won at this track yet, he has run good races here, and is likely to score at Brighton soon. 

The six-year-old is back down in grade for this apprentice handicap and has a top-class young rider in Jack Doughty on board. His effort last time can probably be ignored as he was just beginning to make a move when stopped in his tracks, and he steps back up to almost 7f now, which may suit him this season.

He might just outclass some moderate rivals here. 

Dylan Cunha is a trainer who continues to make a strong impression. He places his horses well and has definitely started the turf season in good form. 

Expressionless won at last season and returns to the Midlands track after a very encouraging reappearance over a distance short of his ideal trip. 

His two wins last season both came over this distance and watching him stay on last time out, he looks as though he may have further improvement in him this year. 

He could be very well handicapped on the same rating he scored off at Yarmouth in July. 

Beach Point has been a model of consistency and steadily improved throughout last season plus looks as though he has carried on in the same vein based on a good reappearance effort last time out. 

He has a finished a close second on his past two starts, and was raised a pound after both of those outings, but still looks as though he can strike off this higher mark. 

William Knight has been amongst the winners this spring and hopefully Beach Point can get his head back in front.
